It’s been about 5 years since my LASEK, and overall I’ve been satisfied so far. Before surgery, I wore contact lenses for a long time and it was uncomfortable, and I could feel that my eyes were getting worse. Now it’s so convenient that I can go out without bringing glasses or contacts, and aesthetically I’m also very satisfied that I can live without glasses. In the beginning, there was some pain, light glare, and dryness, and it was a bit uncomfortable until my vision stabilized, but it gradually got better and both eyes reached 1.0 vision. Even now, 5 years later, my vision is relatively well maintained, but I do feel that things are a bit dim at night.
