1. Reason for deciding on surgery The biggest cause was a temporomandibular joint problem. I chose this hospital because friends around me had their surgery here, and the results looked good! 2. Recovery process and changes I feel like the nerve in my jaw has returned about 95%? But there is still a kind of tight, knotted feeling. The TMJ problem has come back, and I feel like things may gradually return to how they were before. 3. Satisfaction with the changes and thoughts When I take photos and look in the mirror, the thing I notice is that after surgery my philtrum looks longer and my nose feels a bit upturned? I also have a double chin, so I go to a skin clinic for elasticity management too Post-op care is really necessary. The jaw shape is less asymmetrical, and I like that my face is a little more slim than before! My face was small already, but after surgery people absolutely say my face is small whenever I go out..!! There seem to definitely be pros and cons. Please choose carefully.!!
