It has been one month since I had surgery at Yangyundol Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. I used to feel a lot of stress because of facial asymmetry and a protruding mouth. I was especially self-conscious about my side profile, and having to worry about my angles every time I took a photo was so stressful. After thinking it over, I decided to go ahead with double-jaw surgery as well. I received consultations at several places, but I chose this one because it felt the most trustworthy. The first 1 to 2 weeks after surgery were hard because of the swelling and discomfort. Still, after 2 weeks passed, I slowly started to feel better, and as of 1 month post-op, the major swelling has gone down a lot. There is still some residual swelling, but the line has started to show to some extent, so I am satisfied. I can definitely feel that my protruding mouth has come in, and my jawline feels more defined than before, making my face look smaller overall. It is not fully settled yet, but because I can see the changes, I have high expectations. I am still in recovery, so there are parts I have to be careful about, but so far I am satisfied. Thinking about how the result will settle more naturally over time makes me even more excited. I worried a lot about surgery, but now I think it was the right choice, and I hope this helps anyone with similar concerns :)
