Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

Double-jaw surgery + three contour procedures

Since I was young, I had a severe malocclusion where my lower teeth jutted forward. So I often bit my tongue while eating, and there were many uncomfortable things. Also, whenever I saw photos of my side profile taken without me noticing, my jaw always stood out, and that was a really big complex for me. It bothered me even when I smiled, and I gradually lost confidence in taking pictures.😭 So I thought for a very long time about whether I should get orthodontic treatment or surgery. In fact, double-jaw surgery is scary and I had a lot of worries, but after getting counseling and hearing a detailed explanation of my condition, I thought it would be worth it and that it could solve my discomfort and improve my appearance complex, so I decided to have the surgery! The staff were all so kind, and the doctor also tried his best to match the face shape I wanted as much as possible! What I liked most was that they were honest during the consultation. They told me clearly what could be done, what would be difficult, and how far it was realistically possible, so I trusted them more and it was easier to use as a reference. The hospital was clean overall and the facilities were well set up. In particular, right next to the ward after surgery there was a separate space where I could receive care, and it was set up like a dental treatment room, so moving around was easy and getting care was convenient! What I still remember is that right after the surgery ended, when I was in the ward, I was in so much pain and so exhausted that I was out of it, and the doctor held my hand and told me to hang in there. Hearing that gave me so much strength. The nurses were also by my side day and night, taking care of everything I needed and encouraging me a lot, so I was really grateful.. I think I was able to get through the 2 nights and 3 days of hospitalization well. You can live once you just endure the first week after surgery! About a month later, they removed the wafer and moved me into orthodontics. And by the two-month mark, I was really able to eat everything. Actually, I did eat ramen during the first week They said I could eat anything as long as I did not overstrain myself, so I think I just looked for and ate anything soft. And by the three-month mark, I eat anything as long as it is not too hard. After the surgery, I gained back the weight I had lost Honestly, until about one month, or even two weeks, I was in so much pain and so exhausted, and because the swelling had not gone down at all, I was puffy, so I kept thinking maybe I should not have done it. But now all I can think is how glad I am that I did it. Looking at my old photos, the hollowing in my midface that was not visible before surgery is now so obvious, which is amazing, and after surgery my expression looks much gentler too. And because my face got smaller, I can try the hairstyles I wanted to try, and I can take side-profile photos without thinking twice. Every day after surgery feels so enjoyable. Ah, I want my sideburns to grow back quickly so I can cut the cute little fringe hair Even though I am only at the stage of transitioning into month 3 to 4, if I already like it this much, I think I will like it even more in a year. I am so grateful to the doctor and nurses who performed the surgery safely and beautifully.
