It’s already been 3 months since I had double jaw and contouring surgery with Director Shin at Iyu Oral Surgery and was it! Time really flies haha. Even at the one-month mark, I was looking in the mirror every day because of the swelling, wondering when it would go down, but now the facial line is clearly refined and I’m so satisfied with how things are going. Compared with the 2-month mark, the swelling has gone down a lot more, and now daily life is so comfortable that I almost forget I had surgery!! Chewing food feels much more natural too, and when I make facial expressions, the awkward feeling is almost gone, so it feels more and more like my own face haha. And what I really notice as time goes by is that choosing a surgical direction that fit my face was the best decision. It’s not just that the mouth looks set back a bit; the overall proportions were refined too, so photos look much more natural and I’m satisfied with the side profile line as well. People around me also keep saying my face shape turned out really naturally and well, which makes me even happier, and every time I look at my pre-op photos I keep thinking I made the right choice Most of all, before surgery I was full of worries and fear, but now I’m spending my days feeling really grateful to Director Shin Hee-jin of Iyu Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery for performing the surgery safely and well!!
