In the past, even looking in the mirror was stressful T_T. When I took photos, I would always look at my jaw first, and I was unnecessarily conscious of other people's gazes, so my confidence had really dropped. Even when I put on makeup, I still felt unsatisfied, and even when I dressed up, I couldn't feel content, so I think I gradually lost the joy of grooming itself. That's why I spent a very long time agonizing over orthognathic surgery, but every time I saw posts about side effects, I got scared and kept hesitating.
But after the consultation, my thoughts changed a lot. The director explained in detail what kind of change I could expect based on my facial shape, and spoke about moving in a direction that would look naturally harmonious rather than overly dramatic, which gave me trust. So I made up my mind and decided on the surgery, and now all I can think is that I really, really made the right choice.
Of course, during the early recovery period there was swelling and it was a bit difficult, but as time passed and I saw my facial line becoming more refined, I kept looking in the mirror for no reason haha. I used to dislike taking photos, but now I take selfies first, and I'm living for the fun of doing my makeup and choosing clothes!! People around me also say my whole vibe has changed, and I hear a lot that I look more confident, so I'm even more satisfied.
More than anything, because my facial-shape stress has lessened, meeting people feels so much easier, and the shrinking-away feeling I used to have has also gone away a lot. I was especially grateful because the director handled the consultation with such care, and the center managers and the hospital staff also paid a lot of attention to me!! I still find it amazing every time I look in the mirror, and I'm so satisfied that the time I spent worrying about orthognathic surgery feels wasted now!!! So, so happy!!!!!!
