Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

3 Months After Ivro Double Jaw Surgery

Hello. It has been about 3 months since I had double jaw surgery and contouring procedures 2 types (square jaw and chin) at Yi Oral Surgery with ivro. My face has become much more natural now, and the swelling has gone down a lot compared to the beginning. At first, I worried that even if the swelling went down, my face might still look awkward, but as time passed, my facial lines kept getting more refined, and it feels even more natural and soft now. In particular, asymmetry was my biggest stress, and now the fact that I don’t feel that same level of resistance when taking photos is a huge plus. Before surgery, whenever I looked at photos other people had taken of me, my left side looked too large while the right side looked sunken, and the asymmetry was very severe. On top of that, my side profile showed a fairly pronounced underbite, with the chin sticking out.... So I avoided situations where other people would take photos of me as much as possible, and that caused me a lot of stress, which is why I decided I absolutely needed double jaw surgery! The part I’m most satisfied with is my side profile. Before surgery, I really hated being photographed because of my side line, but these days I even feel okay looking at photos other people take of me My face shape feels more refined overall, and as the swelling goes down, my face seems even smaller, so I’m satisfied. Around months 2 to 3, my mouth opening also improved a lot, and now I can open it to almost three finger widths. I can eat almost anything now, and my speech has become much more natural too. I’m still being a little careful with chewy or hard foods, but in daily life I’m getting by without major inconvenience. People around me also often say that my impression has become softer and that my face looks much more refined, and I feel good every time I hear that I still have a slightly dull feeling on the roof of my mouth, but it’s not at a level that interferes with daily life, and it feels like it’s gradually coming back, so I’m not too worried. What I felt during recovery is that walking and mouth exercises consistently really help a lot. It was hard at first, but now I’m so satisfied that I wonder why I didn’t do them sooner, and I’m looking forward to how much more natural it will look as the swelling continues to go down!
