I had double jaw surgery from Dr. Kim at EYU Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Originally, every time I looked in the mirror, I was bothered by the feeling that my lower jaw stuck out. My bite also didn't line up well, so I had subtle discomfort when eating or in daily life. After thinking about it for a long time, I finally decided to go ahead with double jaw surgery. I chose the hospital after doing a lot of research through reviews and before-and-after photos, and Dr. Kim Jong-yoon's surgery cases looked natural and functionally good, which gave me confidence. It's been 11 months now, and the discomfort I had in the beginning has almost disappeared. I can open my mouth much wider than before. The clicking sounds I used to hear every time I yawned or opened my jaw are now almost gone, so it feels really comfortable. I don't have any particular trouble eating, and I live day to day without being very conscious that I had surgery, because everything feels so natural. Above all, people around me keep telling me that my face got smaller and that I look prettier, so I think my satisfaction is very high, and as the swelling has almost completely gone down, my jawline and overall face line feel much more refined. For those who are thinking about double jaw surgery, you're probably considering both the functional side and the facial shape changes. For me, the more time passes, the more I think I really made the right choice.
