When I was looking into hospitals here and there, one of my friends was scheduled to have surgery at Yigu Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and now it has been several years since they had surgery there and they still have zero side effects, and the surgery went well too. The person who had the surgery themselves strongly recommended it to me, so I got a consultation right away! After that, I looked up reviews about Yigu Oral and checked the reputation, and I learned it was already a famous hospital known for doing well, and I kept hearing that the directors were exceptionally skilled and even appeared on TV, which made me trust it even more and choose this hospital. Since I had known since childhood that I had malocclusion and a protruding lower jaw, I thought I would definitely need double jaw surgery when I became an adult. I decided to have the surgery because of aesthetic concerns, but now, 11 months later, even thinking back again, after getting double jaw surgery from Director Shin Hee-jin, not only did my appearance change, but my pronunciation and bite improved and eating became much easier, so I feel it was truly a necessary surgery for me! My current face and function feel like they have naturally become part of my daily life. Some sensation is still returning, but there is nothing majorly uncomfortable in daily life, and it keeps improving little by little as time passes, so the impatience I used to feel has disappeared~ My orthodontic treatment is now almost at the final stage, so once the braces come off, I think life will become even more comfortable and stable, and I'm looking forward to that. I had many worries at first, but looking back now, I really think it was the right decision to have the surgery because both the functional side and the balance of my face improved together!
