I had one crowded tooth only on my lower teeth. As I got older, I could feel that crowded tooth coming forward more and more compared to when I was younger, and when I talked, I could see my lower teeth more than I expected,, I did not know it was possible to correct only the lower teeth, but since that was possible, I’m getting clear aligners now. It took about 10 months. Since they were clear, it was annoying to take them out and put them back in every time I ate, but it was nice because they were not visible. What I regret is that I wish I had done the upper teeth too.
