I had cosmetic orthognathic surgery done with IVRO, and now, a year later, the heights of my front teeth on both sides are different. When I asked the clinic, they said the gums had receded and it happened when the teeth were fixed together, but there’s apparently no separate follow-up treatment that can be done. So I think I’ll need orthodontic treatment again on top of it. If you’re thinking of getting cosmetic orthognathic surgery, I think it’s better to consider it carefully. I can also hear a pin-like sound in my cheekbone, and it hurts sometimes. It was done at a fairly large hospital, but it feels like there are more things lost afterward, so please be cautious.
