It has already been 1 year since my prognathism surgery, and 3 months since the pin removal! I had double-jaw surgery and contouring 3 procedures at [Clinic D] (cheekbones, square jaw, and chin)! First of all, my satisfaction with my appearance is 10000%! I also hear that my face looks smaller, and friends I meet again after a long time often tell me I've become prettier ~~! My jaw has also gone in I am so happy. My cheekbones are smooth too..!! If I write a few things about recovery after surgery, first, most of the sensation has come back. The remaining 20% in the roof of my mouth is slowly returning, and when I touch the left lower jaw area, it still feels tingly, like electricity is running through it? Or maybe I should say it itches? Even so, it does not interfere with daily life at all! This will also recover gradually, so I'm not worried! Second is the tightness inside the mouth..! Honestly, this is the most annoying part, but I think it is probably because I did not do mouth exercises diligently after surgery... Be sure to do your mouth exercises diligently after surgery! Other than that, there is nothing else!!!! My satisfaction is at the highest level ◡̈ My makeup routine changed a lot, the way I dress up changed too, and my desired look.. is moving in the direction I want, so I have gained confidence in the change in my target image, which makes me so happy!!! And I had the pin removal 3 months ago too~! As for the review of the pin removal, it did not make the foreign-body sensation disappear or make my face feel more comfortable, but I do feel more confident when going to the dentist or getting x-rays.. Really the best.. If you have the time and financial room, I definitely recommend doing it! And I heard that the sooner you do it, the easier it is to remove the pins?! Also, if double-jaw surgery pain is 100, then pin removal is about 10?? But the swelling was worse with the pin removal.. Still, the speed at which it went down was on a different level!! I returned to daily life wearing a mask 3 days after the pin removal! My one-year long journey is over, and I have no regrets at all; if anything, I only think I should have done it sooner! If you are considering it, I definitely recommend doing it as soon as possible~!!
