Hello~! I had double jaw surgery from Dr. Kim Jong-yoon at Iyu Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery! My older sister had surgery there first about two years ago, and the results were natural, with no side effects after the double jaw surgery overall, so watching her gave me a lot of trust. That experience had the biggest influence on my decision to have surgery! Honestly, more than review posts, the most reliable thing is a real firsthand review from someone close to you, lol Anyway, I normally had a receding chin and protruding mouth, so it was hard to keep my mouth comfortably closed, and I felt that orthodontics alone had its limits, so I eventually decided to plan for double jaw surgery. Besides Iyu Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, my mother also looked into several places and recommended some of them, but above all, seeing my older sister's successful surgery case directly played a big role in helping me decide!! Now it has already been 3 months since the surgery, and as the swelling has gone down a lot, I can clearly feel that the protruding mouth and receding-chin impression have been corrected, and my facial line has changed naturally overall, so I’m very satisfied. At first, the recovery process was not easy, but as time passed, the discomfort gradually decreased, and now I’m doing well without major pain or inconvenience in daily life, haha. Functionally, I can close my mouth well and eating has become much easier, so daily life itself feels much more comfortable, and the external changes are not excessive but have been arranged naturally, so people around me often say my impression looks softer >_< Overall, the biggest thing I feel is that the parts I had worried about have improved and my satisfaction with daily life has definitely gone up. If you have similar concerns, I really recommend thinking it over carefully at least once!!
