An amazing male nose revision review

Hello. It’s been a month since I had revision nose surgery with autologous costal cartilage at [Clinic A]. Because it was a revision, I worried much more than I did with my first surgery. Honestly, having already done it once did not make me feel at ease; if anything, the burden of having to do it again felt even greater. Still, there was a part that kept bothering me every time I looked in the mirror. After discussing the look I wanted with [Doctor A], I decided to go ahead with revision nose surgery using autologous costal cartilage. For about a week after the surgery, as expected, there was quite a bit of swelling and my nose felt very firm. Especially in the morning, it looked even puffier, and there were times I wondered if this was really okay, but [Clinic A] had good aftercare, so after receiving swelling management, the puffiness gradually started to go down. A month later, the major swelling seems to have almost gone, and only residual swelling remains. I like that they lifted it cleanly to the height I wanted and shaped the line well for me. Of course it is not the finished result yet, but it has become much more natural than before, and I can see the nose line settling into place. The parts I cared about most were the front view and the side profile, and now every time I look in the mirror I clearly think it looks better than before. Before the revision, I was also subtly careful about my camera angle when taking photos, but these days that stress has gone down and I end up taking a lot more photos that I used to avoid haha. Friends who know I had surgery also told me it looks much more natural and masculine than before! Since it has only been a month, the tip of my nose still feels a bit firm and there is still some residual swelling, but so far I feel like choosing revision nose surgery with autologous costal cartilage was the right decision at [Clinic A]. At first I worried a lot about whether I was making a pointless choice by doing it again, but now the parts that had been stressing me out for so long have improved a lot, and I’m satisfied. I still have to wait a few more months for the final result, so I’m not rushing. I’m looking forward to seeing what it looks like as the swelling goes down even more.
