I had surgery with autologous costal cartilage from the doctor who kindly explained everything

A few years ago I had revision nose surgery, and I really hated the result. When I took photos with the regular camera, my eyes looked farther apart, the nose was the only thing that stood out, my nostrils were crooked, and I had no columella, so it looked so unattractive that it stressed me out whenever I looked in the mirror T_T I just tried to live with it, but it was so stressful that during the time I took a break from work this time, I looked into getting revision surgery~ Then I visited Lowell Plastic Surgery, where Dr. Kim Dae-hwa was assigned to me, and I went for a consultation. Everyone at the clinic was kind, and when I told the doctor, “I want it like this,” he explained in detail what shape would look good and which parts would suit me, and because he explained it while showing me the 3D model, it was easier to understand^^ I said, “Please make it pretty, noticeably higher!” and the doctor was really not having it, haha He said he would lower the columella as much as possible, but also warned that if the bridge were raised too much and the columella lowered too much, the silicone could show, haha So I decided to listen. I also found that Dr. Ralral had treated patients, and after looking up many reviews, every nose he had treated looked beautiful!!! And the doctor’s way of speaking was warm and sweet, and he explained things very well, so I asked him to make sure the nose would not look lifted but still be pretty, and I made the decision to have surgery that same day with complete trust, then had it the next day *^^ After surgery, because it was autologous costal cartilage, the only difficult part was getting up and lying down by myself for a few days; I didn’t really have pain. My nose was only swollen on days 2 and 3, and once the swelling went down I didn’t get any bruising at all!! I really thought he was incredibly skilled^^ About a week later, when the splint came off, I was shocked! It was so swollen haha and looked like an avatar nose, but I heard autologous costal cartilage usually swells a lot. My eyes were especially swollen, and I think that swelling moved into my nose haha I was worried, but the doctor said it was healing well. Day by day after the splint came off, the swelling went down and it kept getting prettier!^^ I feel like it’ll keep looking better It’s amazing. I look in the mirror every day and watch my nose changing ^^;; It’s my life nose haha I wish I had met Dr. Kim Dae-hwa earlier I’m sad about all the years that passed, but from now on I can live prettily haha I was so touched that I could have surgery with such a skilled doctor at such a low event price. It’s been about 2 to 3 weeks since the surgery, and this year feels lucky~^^ I’m looking forward to my nose getting prettier and prettier
