Obli Plastic Surgery: 1-Month Review of Male Non-Implant Hump Nose Surgery

I had been self-conscious about my hump nose since I was young, so while looking for a hospital known for hump nose surgery, I came across Obli Plastic Surgery. I visited six hospitals in person, and the reasons I chose Obli among them were the surgeon’s trustworthiness and the hospital’s emphasis on surgical safety. At other hospitals, most of the consultation was handled by a coordinator, and the surgeon would only spend about 3 to 5 minutes with me, so instead of building trust, I usually left without even getting my questions properly answered. But at Obli, I only had a very brief Q&A with the coordinator, and the surgeon personally spent about 30 minutes consulting with me. Thanks to that, I could confirm everything I was curious about, what the surgery could and could not do, and what risk factors were involved. Through that process, I developed deep trust in the surgeon and the hospital. The surgeon placed the highest importance on safety, so surgeries with risk factors were explained well with medical evidence, and we were able to work out the surgical plan together. That helped me feel more at ease when deciding on surgery. Since this was male surgery, I wanted to improve only the part that bothered me without making it look obviously cosmetic, and I absolutely wanted to avoid side effects such as contracture or infection. Those concerns matched the surgeon’s philosophy of prioritizing safety and natural results, so I felt I could trust them with the procedure. I was also very worried about sedation anesthesia, but Obli continuously monitored the patient’s condition in real time and adjusted the anesthetic dose, so I was able to finish the surgery very safely. My friends said they were still out of it in the recovery room, but I woke up feeling completely fine and refreshed, and even made a phone call from the recovery room..haha I had hump reduction and osteotomy, plus tip refinement using ear cartilage and septal cartilage. After the surgery, the hump was well smoothed out, and the nose tip was also nicely refined into a straight line. Not only that, even my front view, which I had not expected much from, became much clearer and more refined. I really love it.. On top of that, I had been especially worried about the nostril widening that can make surgery look obvious, like the 11-shaped nostrils, but the surgeon delicately adjusted the angle of the nose tip with septal cartilage, so the nostrils came out very naturally. There was no pain or bruising at all after surgery, and the swelling was truly minimal and went down quickly. The aftercare after surgery was also excellent. Every question I had was answered individually by the coordinator through private messages, and every time I came in, I also received swelling laser treatment, so I think the swelling went down even faster. After the splint came off, I had almost no swelling starting from one week post-op, so I met a lot of people, and even first-time acquaintances could not tell I had surgery at all. People who knew me also said it looked very natural and praised it a lot. From the consultation process to recovery, I never once regretted choosing Obli. Haha. I’m truly grateful to the surgeon for making such a beautiful nose.. The only thing I can do is write an honest review..
