Worst consultation for under-eye fat repositioning at a clinic in Sinnonhyeon

I went for a consultation after seeing viral YouTube content about under-eye fat repositioning. It is a well-known hospital, and there were so many reviews and videos that I went in with high expectations, but I am leaving this review because I felt so disgusted and shocked after the consultation. I was basically thinking about under-eye fat repositioning, and I asked whether, if it could be done together, they would also recommend a surgery that could make my eyes look a little less sleepy. I did not even know if that exactly counted as ptosis correction; I just wanted a professional opinion on what was realistically possible for my condition. But throughout the consultation, it felt like they were constantly judging and putting down my appearance. Looking at my narrow eyes, they suddenly said things like "the worst" and "there is scar tissue," but I have never had any plastic surgery before. I do not even know why I had to hear the words scar tissue, and I was honestly stunned. And they used expressions like "it is abnormal to see mucous membrane when looking straight ahead," "it is severe," and "the scar will be the worst" so casually that, as someone there to get a consultation, it felt almost like a personal attack. Because of the emotional wording and the way they spoke in a manner unfit for a medical professional, I felt quite uncomfortable and intimidated throughout the consultation. I have never had anyone talk to me about my looks like that in my life, so paying money to go to a plastic surgery clinic and hearing those things felt so strange. If they did not want to do the surgery, I think it would have been enough to simply say, "I mainly do under-eye fat repositioning, so it would be better to get a consultation at another clinic for this part." But they kept speaking in a scare-tactic tone, saying things like "can you handle bruising for 3 months?" so the pressure during the consultation was intense. I asked about ptosis correction, but suddenly the topic shifted to incisional double eyelid surgery, and the consultation direction kept changing... It felt less like an explanation and more like a one-sided judgment. When I even asked whether they also do pigmentation laser treatment, they did not explain the procedure and instead talked about their personal situation, saying they were busy enough just with surgery. Honestly, I had no idea why a patient needed to hear that. When I made the reservation inquiry, they said it would be available within 1 to 3 weeks, but in the actual consultation they said the wait was 3 months, which was also ridiculous. And what made it even more unpleasant was that, while the doctor themselves seemed to live without paying any visual attention to their own under-eye fat or wrinkles, they so easily used words like "abnormal" and "severe" toward patients. I believe medical explanation and judging a person are different things. I think a doctor is someone who helps a patient make decisions by providing professional explanations about things the patient does not understand well. Approaching patients in a way that makes them shrink back or evaluates their appearance does not feel appropriate for a medical professional. After going to a clinic where I spent time, courage, and even consultation fees because I wanted to improve my appearance, and then experiencing an attitude that felt like they were pressuring and gaslighting the patient by taking advantage of information asymmetry, I felt extremely disgusted. Just because the clinic is doing well now does not mean they are allowed to treat patients that way. Separate from fame, basic respect and communication are absolutely necessary. Doctors are not gods. Patients do not go to hear criticism of their looks; they go to get professional explanations and hear their options. I am not usually the type to even write a post like this after joining a community, but this experience was so unpleasant that I am writing it to share the information. I hope no one else gets hurt during the consultation process like I did.
