There are clinics that tell you to get this scan, and others that say they can do it all because there are no cases where they cannot use it just by opening it up.. Anyway, I have been carrying around the CD with my CT scan to every consultation.. Clinic C said it was possible, and the clinic I went to for consultation today, Clinic H, said it was calcified and could not be used They told me to use donor rib, but why is the reading different everywhere?... How was it for you all? It was not completely calcified on the CT, and the lower part was not, but they said this part cannot be used.. Is it really impossible to use autologous rib if it is calcified in 6 or 7 places? This would be my third surgery, so donor rib makes me nervous... The doctor said donor rib is better than using autologous rib with poor quality.. And what do they mean when they say they will do it with autologous rib without requesting CT results?
