It stressed me out that my nose looked wide first in photos. Especially when I smiled, my nostrils flared outward, making the bulbous-nose appearance look worse, T_T. When I went to [Clinic A] for a consultation, they focused on what my nose actually needed without pushing extra procedures, so I had both alar reduction and nasal wall reduction. The area that looked wide between my nostrils was refined, and my nose flares outward less when I smile. Rather than wanting an obvious transformation, I wanted my original nose to look a little more refined, and that is exactly how it feels. If you’re deliberating because your whole nose looks wide, it might be worth asking during the consultation whether to consider alar reduction alone or together with nasal wall reduction!! I wanted a naturally refined result rather than an obvious change, so I’m happy with how it looks now, haha.
