I’m leaving a review for 3 days after arm liposuction and 3 weeks after back liposuction🙂I’ll say in advance that this is just a post for information exchange and 기록용, meaning for keeping a record! Three weeks ago, I had liposuction on the upper and lower back + sides + love handles, and this time I had arm liposuction + axillary breast revision surgery! The extracted amounts were about 4,600 from the back, 360 degrees around the arms, and about 2,600 from the axillary breast area! Now, about 3 weeks after back liposuction, the bruising and severe swelling are almost gone. However, when I had my axillary breast removal surgery before, I also had fluid accumulation because of seroma, so they had to drain it with a syringe a few times. Because of that, this time too, about a week after surgery, I developed a seroma and had a bit of a hard timeIt could have been because it was a large-volume extraction, but I naturally have a tendency toward severe swelling, and I had the same experience before, so I wasn’t extremely shocked or worried. The problem was that I had to keep the compression bandage tightly wrapped all the way down to the pelvis so that fluid wouldn’t build up again, and I had to keep going to work and sit all day in that condition, which was really, really hardStill, thankfully, the hospital is one subway stop from my company, and from my home I can get there by bus without transferring, so I was able to get follow-up checks every 2 to 3 days. They kept draining the fluid, and they even gave me IV antibiotics and iron, so thanks to their careful care, the seroma area has now almost been absorbed! Honestly, if the intervals between follow-ups had been longer or aftercare had been lacking, I think I would have suffered for much longer, so I was really satisfied with this part. Right now, fibrous scar tissue is starting to form overall, so I do want aftercare, but since I just had arm surgery, I’m planning to start treatment in about 2 weeks! The hospital also has several rounds of aftercare programs, and I think I’m the type who forms fibrous scar tissue easily.. When I had the axillary breast surgery before, I had quite severe fibrous nodules too, but maybe because the area was small, after about 3 years it eventually disappeared naturally. Still, I have an overseas trip next month, so I want to recover even a little faster, which is why I’m planning to get treatment diligently this time! And this time I had arm liposuction + axillary breast revision surgery. Interestingly, the pain itself felt worse in the back, but my arms are so swollen😭Like Doraemon’s hands... Especially since I’m right-handed, my right hand hurt more, so I was almost unable to use my hands. I was really surprised how other people manage their daily livesRight after surgery I couldn’t even raise my hands above my shoulders, so my mom basically took care of me like I was a baby, feeding me, washing my face, and helping me get out of bed🤣Now it’s day 3, and although my hands are even more swollen, I can move my fingers and can at least clumsily eat by myself! People say swelling is worse after the surgery than on the day itself. So I wanted to write a review on the same day to see how the line turned out, but I was so exhausted that I couldn’t even think about it, and only today am I able to write thisPersonally, I think surgery is something where complications can never be 100% ruled out. That’s why I care about extracted volume, but I always prioritize safety first. In the end, what really matters is how much know-how the hospital has, how thoroughly they explain things beforehand, and how they respond when a problem happens. Of course, the contours matter too! That said, I’ve been eating gomtang with beef knuckle bone nonstop while recovering, and I’m getting really tired of it.... Anyway, the hospital is fairly close to both my home and work, and the director and staff are kind, so it’s also a big advantage that it’s easy to go there. I heard seromas can happen fairly commonly, but I didn’t see many reviews about them, so I wanted to keep recording my progress in case there are others with the same issue! Now I just want my arms to recover well, get diligent treatment, and have the fibrous nodules loosen up quickly! Everyone, please choose your hospital carefully and find one that suits you so you can get good results!
