6 Months After Nose Surgery

I’ve always been bothered by my low bridge and blunt bulbous nose, so I had autologous costal cartilage rhinoplasty from Director Park Jeong-heum at Mighty Plastic Surgery. The surgery used a silicone bridge implant + autologous costal cartilage for the tip, and after consulting, I decided to go with a plan that would raise the nose naturally while also improving the tip shape. It’s been 6 months since the surgery now, and compared to the 2- to 3-month point, a lot more swelling has gone down, so the overall nose line has become more natural. At first, the tip felt hard and looked swollen, but now it’s become much softer and the bulbous-nose look seems to have decreased a lot too. That said, the tip still feels a little more blunt than I imagined, so that part is a slight disappointment. Still, I’m satisfied with the overall line and the bridge, and I’ve also heard a lot that my face looks more defined than before. As 6 months passed, I could really feel it becoming more natural with time, and I think it looks best now. They say it’s still settling little by little, so I’m planning to keep watching the progress!
