I had it done with ear cartilage only, without silicone, and at some point after the surgery, cartilage started sticking out on the columella side.. It hasn't even been 6 months yet, so I can't even get a consultation, and anyway if I want it removed I have to wait, so I thought it'd be fine. But for the past few days, the protruding cartilage area has been hurting like a stabbing pain? It's like something is pressing on a nerve. Could this be inflammation..? It happens from time to time even when I'm just sitting still, and when I wash my face or wipe my runny nose, even lightly touching that protruding area makes it tingle.
