3-Month Review of Long-Nose Correction + Bulbous Nose Correction

The biggest reason I first decided on surgery was my low nasal bridge and a nose that looked long. Every time I looked at my side profile, I kept thinking I wanted my nose to be just a little higher and to look more naturally balanced, and the fact that my nose gave off a long-nose impression made me especially self-conscious about my nostrils from the front. I also wanted to improve the dull, bulbous-nose look, so I ended up getting long-nose correction and nose surgery. Now that three months have already passed, most of the major swelling has gone down, and my nose shape is settling in naturally. As time goes by, I can see the line getting smoother, so I feel more satisfied every time I look in the mirror. The part I’m happiest with is the side line. The line from the bridge to the tip looks much more natural and refined, so my face feels more three-dimensional. From the front, the long-looking impression has improved a lot, and with the bulbous-nose look also improved, my whole face seems much neater and clearer overall. I also had rhinitis functional surgery at the same time, and I’m happy not only with the cosmetic changes but also with how much easier it is to breathe. Before, I had many days where nasal congestion made me feel uncomfortable, but now breathing is much easier, so my daily quality of life has improved too. I was told there is still a little residual swelling, so I’m continuing to take care of it and watch how it settles, but even as it is now I’m fully satisfied, and I’m looking forward to it becoming even more natural over the next six months or so. It was a surgery that satisfied both the shape and the function of my nose, so I think it could be a good choice for people who are worrying about a long nose or a bulbous nose like I was.
