Even after getting nose surgery twice, my nose still looked wide from the front and seemed to tilt to one side. The tip gradually became more blunt over time, and from the side the line connecting the nose and lips felt awkward, so I kept worrying about it every time I took a photo. Because I had already had surgery several times, I chose hospitals and doctors very carefully, with the mindset that the third nose revision absolutely had to be the last one. I wanted the refined shape I had seen on Instagram, like a pentagon-shaped nose from the front, with a slim tip but a well-balanced relationship between the nostrils and the columella, so I went to Another for a consultation. During my consultation with Director Ji Seung-ryeol, he didn’t just talk about raising the nose higher, but analyzed the existing surgical-related deviation, the wide nasal shape, and the blunt tip overall. Because the skin at the tip had also become sensitive after multiple surgeries, we decided to reinforce it so it wouldn’t look thin or show through, and to hold the tip stably so it wouldn’t droop. For the area where the nasal base looked sunken from the side, and where the mouth seemed relatively protruded, we decided to correct the nasolabial angle as well so everything would connect naturally. I kept telling him throughout the consultation that I wanted the well-balanced pentagon nose feeling I had seen on Instagram, and he immediately understood the point I wanted, so I was able to decide on surgery with confidence. As the swelling went down, the first thing I noticed was that the front view of my nose had changed a lot. Before, the bridge and tip looked wide and bent, so the center of my face felt blurred. Now the midline is straighter, and the tip has been refined into a slimmer shape. Especially the pentagon nose shape I had kept looking up on Instagram seems to have been tailored to fit my face, so every time I look at front-facing photos I’m so satisfied Because the proportions of the nostrils, columella, and tip are balanced, the nose doesn’t look unnecessarily sharp, but overall it gives a clear and sophisticated impression. The side profile also became softer as the nasolabial angle was naturally refined, and the line from the tip to the lips is smoother. My mouth also looks less protruded than before. The tip skin has settled smoothly and naturally without looking see-through or bumpy, which is another thing I like, since it doesn’t look like a nose that has been operated on multiple times. Since this was my third nose revision, before surgery I was really worried that what if the shape I wanted didn’t come out again this time. But by improving not only the bent nose, the wide nose, and the blunt tip, but also the tip skin and the nasolabial angle overall, the pentagon nose feeling I wanted was completed, so I’m satisfied. From the front it looks slim and balanced, and from the side the natural three-dimensionality is there, so I feel much more confident taking photos from any angle than before. It feels like the pretty nose shape I had only searched for on Instagram has finally suited my face, so I think this time I can really settle into this as my final nose surgery ♥️
