It’s day 5 after lateral/lower canthoplasty and incisional double eyelid surgery. Until yesterday it was so hard, but today it’s not too bad, just hard enough.... ㄷㄷ For the double eyelid surgery photo, I brought a pre-double-eyelid-surgery photo of Jang Wonyoung, and they said it was an inline crease. (I’d always thought that was an in-out line and kept asking for in-out lol) Anyway, what kind of line it was didn’t matter that much; I just wanted my eyes to come out in the shape I wanted, so I didn’t care much about what line it was. They said my original eyes had a lot of fat and were droopy, so I needed an incisional method. On top of that, they were totally clam-like eyes (the outer/lower corners were really closed off)...ㅋ For the lateral/lower canthoplasty consultation, I didn’t prepare separate photos and just asked them to make my eyes look as open and refreshed as possible without a stuffy feeling. My outer eye corners were very severely upturned, so they said I would see a good effect.
Maybe because I did double eyelid surgery + lateral/lower canthoplasty together, the surgery took almost about 3-4 hours ㅠㅠ The anesthesia wore off here and there during the surgery, so it hurt, and I was crying inside. It was honestly pretty hard ㅠㅠ If I had only done double eyelid surgery, I don’t think it would have been this hard... lateral/lower canthoplasty is no joke... No wonder after finishing the double eyelid surgery, the director said I’d done well and told me to hang in there because there was still a big mountain left. At the time, I didn’t know why that was a big mountain.. hahaㅋㅋㅋ
Right now the conjunctival edema + bloodshot eyes are intense, and when I wake up after sleeping, the traces of bloody tears running down both cheekbones look disgusting lol On days 1-2 after surgery, even moving my eyeballs a little made tears stream down, so it was really hard, but only today it’s gotten a bit better... My double eyelid area and the aegyo-sal area still feel a bit like someone else’s skin(?), and the lateral/lower canthoplasty stitch area has a stinging kind of pain too. Every morning my eyes won’t open, so I sleep with saline + gauze prepared by my pillow. (When I wake up, I soak it, put it over my eyes, and wipe them a bit..) So far, for care, I’ve been putting in artificial tears about three or four times a day to rinse(?) them, applying ophthalmic ointment to the stitch areas, and doing ice packs.
More than anything else, I’m so worried about when they remove the stitches, I could die. I want them removed under sedation anesthesia ㅜㅜㅜㅜ It already hurts now ㅜㅜ
