I went to consultations at [Clinic A] and [Clinic B] today T_T [Clinic A] had to be reserved in advance by sending a 300,000 won deposit, and [Clinic B] charges a 100,000 won consultation fee if you make a reservation and visit. Reading reviews from people here about [Clinic A], I visited in person and the director was calm, meticulous, good at explaining things, patient, kept going over the parts I didn't understand, and was impressive T_T Since he is such a skilled expert, I already had a lot of trust.
I'm in my second revision state, and I have silicone in the bridge and ear cartilage in the tip. There is no inflammation or contracture, but as my immunity weakened I became more aware of the foreign-body sensation and it started to bother me, so I'm considering removal. I also have asymmetrical nostrils. The cartilage inside the nose protrudes. The columella is originally recessed inward, so after consulting other places, I was told it is a nose shape with a congenitally recessed columella.
[Clinic A] offered: Option 1, full removal with no problem. Option 2, full removal plus a cosmetic adjustment to lower the columella a bit. [Clinic B] said my nose was not originally a very pretty nose and because it had been opened several times, their suggestion was basically Option 1: remove only the bridge silicone, take out the ear cartilage, and preserve a bit of the columellar cartilage. Option 2: if I want, remove everything; anything disappointing can’t be helped.
For both, the basic approach was removal plus cartilage repositioning, and the small differences in between can be referenced from Option 2. [Clinic B] was a place I had secretly expected as much as [Clinic C], but after the consultation I ended up confused about how I was supposed to proceed. Either way, my nose looks like there won't be much visible difference whether I remove everything or remove less, so I was a little disappointed compared with the reviews. I liked everything about [Clinic A], but the cost was the issue, and it came out at a very satisfying price. The difference between the two was only 100,000 won.
I've now visited all four consultation places, and the more I go, the more I think. I didn't know removal could be this hard... Sigh. In my heart, [Clinic D] is out, then [Clinic C], then [Clinic B], and a little above that [Clinic A]. Hmm... senior community members, please give me some advice.
