The part of my face I liked least was my nose.. My nose was too low and my alar base was too wide, so it was stressful. So I decided to get rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage! Since people say nose revision surgery is common for this area, I was very worried... So I searched every single video I could find on YouTube, like rhinoplasty reviews and vlogs... Then I came across Dr. Kim Hyun-ju's YouTube channel, and after seeing how often the doctor performs revision rhinoplasty and how confidently she spoke, I trusted her and went in for a consultation!! The surgeries I had were: first-time rhinoplasty, autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip, silicone for the nasal bridge, short-nose correction, columella lowering, alar reduction, and rhinitis surgery. When I had my consultation with the doctor, she drew the line directly on a pad and helped me find a flattering shape. Honestly, I went in not even knowing what kind of nose would suit me... The doctor said my nose was quite small, which gave me a younger-looking image, and that was completely right She said that if my nose were lengthened to match my facial proportions, it would look really pretty! Before surgery, I worried the most about what if it did not suit me, but I think I really did the right thing by trusting the doctor. I am so, so satisfied and happy haha Right after surgery it hurts a lot, but you only have to endure one day! haha I had much less swelling than I expected, and I did not bruise badly either, so I recovered quickly. The pain was not bad, and sleeping sitting up for a week was the hardest part.. At first it was so natural that I thought it had not changed much, but when I compared the before-and-after photos, I was shocked! It changed so much, and I am very satisfied People around me also say I have become naturally prettier!
