It has been 20 days since I had revision nose surgery with autologous costal cartilage. I had my first surgery when I was too young and chose it without really looking into it, just based on price, so now, five years later, I decided on revision surgery because I was unhappy with the shape, the tip drooped, and my nose was crooked. I visited several places in person and chose three clinics where the doctors were known for revision surgery, and where, based on reviews, they would refine the line in a way that matched what I was aiming for. Each doctor had a different style. One doctor said, basically, "This is your face you see every day. If you’re only changing 1 mm or 2 mm, why even have surgery? I wouldn’t do it." Another just said they would take care of it on their own. Then I met Director Lee Jun-woo at Private Plastic Surgery Clinic. First, I consulted with the coordinator. They suggested the improvements I had already been thinking about for my nose, and from the consultation onward it felt like they were scratching exactly where it itched!! Then, while consulting with the doctor, I learned all the problems with my nose. Maybe because of the first surgery, my nose was more crooked than I thought, it was long, and the tip was also very low. So I had a lot of requests, but I thought a nose that was just sharp and high wouldn’t suit me, so I asked them to make the tip a bit rounder and more natural, improve the long nose, and lift it up, and it really came out beautifully exactly as I said. It’s only day 20 so the swelling will go down more, but people around me say my impression hasn’t changed dramatically, just that I look much more refined lol. Right after surgery, I couldn’t do anything for several days, so I regretted it a little, but now I’m so satisfied.. They say revision surgery is really difficult, so it’s amazing that it came out exactly the way I wanted. Director Lee Jun-woo was also very friendly and kind, so if you’re debating a consultation, definitely go get one!!
