The hump was pretty severe and the tip was drooping too, so my side profile was a complex for me. I kept worrying about it and feeling stressed, so I started looking into surgery. I was 부담 about getting silicone, so I decided on a closed approach and a method that could be done without silicone! I was amazed when they said I could go straight back to daily life with just tape and no splint.
When I went into the operating room, I was very nervous, but I was also excited. Once I was actually inside, everything moved so quickly that it felt over before I knew it lol. After I came out, I wondered if it had gone well and thought I hoped the swelling would go down quickly.... As the anesthesia wore off, pain gradually started in my nose and ear area, and the shaved hump area and ear pain felt unfamiliar, so it hurt a little. Still, it was not to the point where I could not bear it, so no need to worry.
The hospital explained things well and the atmosphere was generally calm, so I felt less anxious. Since this was my first surgery, I think it was a good choice. I’m doing my best with walks and cold compresses to reduce the swelling quickly~
