Nose Surgery Reviews

Five-month review of rhinoplasty with autologous costal cartilage

I wrote a review once in March, but now it feels like the remaining swelling has mostly gone down, so I came back to write my final review. There was a blunt spot on the tip of my nose, like it had been pressed with a finger, and for some reason it was even red there, so after worrying about it, I ended up having surgery on just the nasal tip using autologous costal cartilage.

When I first wrote my review, I liked the improvement in the tip and the overall line, but my nose still felt a bit plump? and big. I was worried it might change over time, but it really did haha. The height definitely settled a little too, and as the remaining swelling went down, the shape changed subtly. That slight difference made me much more satisfied.

People around me also say it looks pretty and that it definitely looks better after surgery, so I feel proud. Since I did not use an implant and used autologous costal cartilage, I guess I should be able to do well without complications, right? I really hope it keeps holding up well like this.
