I got an anti-inflammatory injection because of a large inflammatory breakout that came up around my nose and cheek area. It was in a very noticeable spot, so it was stressful, but I was told it could calm down quickly without extraction, so I went ahead with the procedure. I had the consultation and then it was done right away, and it did not take long. For about a day after the injection, it stayed about the same, but around 3 days later the redness and the raised area had noticeably gone down. My skin was not completely clear, but it was enough to cover with makeup, so I was satisfied. Individual results may vary, but for a sudden large inflammatory breakout like mine, I think it is a good emergency-type treatment. It is not too burdensome and the recovery period is not long, so I think it is worth getting when needed. But if the size is too small, it might leave a dent, so be careful..
