My midface is fairly wide and long, and I also have a lot of facial volume, so my face is the kind that looks very broad and flat. I wanted to remove as much facial fat as possible within what was realistically achievable here, but they advised against forcing it because it could cause severe hollowing in the cheeks. They said it would be better to do liposuction along the contours of each facial area instead.
They explained that it is natural only when you remove the right amount of fat from each part of the face, so I ended up going ahead with a full-face procedure.
Following the consultation plan, the liposuction definitely made my face feel smaller than before to a noticeable degree!
My company is near Sinnonhyeon Station, and there are so many plastic surgery clinics around Gangnam and Sinnonhyeon Station that it was hard to choose. I had consultations at other places too, but I chose Dimare because it is known for having less swelling, and that seems like a good choice.
I still have to go to work.... If the swelling is too obvious and it looks like I had something done, it would be embarrassing, so I went with a place that was said to have as little swelling as possible.
Compared with other places, the swelling is definitely on the lighter side. Still, I do have some bruising on my face, so I’m going to work wearing a mask.
