I had surgery 15 years ago, right after the college entrance exam was over. My eyes were very small, so I think I had the inner corner and outer corner cuts opened as much as possible and went with a semi-out look. So even now, the eye length is extremely long to the point where it cannot be opened any further, and if you only look at the eyes, the canthoplasty looks excessive, but on my face the proportions are still pretty decent. At the time of surgery I am not sure what the issue was, but maybe the right side did not go well, because the surgery took more than 3 hours, and even now the result has settled in as uneven.
