Nose Surgery Reviews

Write it right after removing the splint

Let me organize this neatly. *Before surgery, my nose was bulbous, and I had experience with filler at the tip of my nose. For the first 3 weeks after the filler, I liked it so much that I took tons of selfies, but after that it did not suddenly spread all at once; it gradually spread and started to look flatter and rounder than my original nose. It was already a bulbous nose, and because the filler spread, my nose looked even bigger, so I was depressed... As soon as it bothered me, I went to the hospital and dissolved the filler, but once I experienced a sharp tip, I started to get greedy. I thought procedures for the nose were hopeless, so I immediately started looking into surgery, but it was hard to find a place that could make the tip both sharp and rounded at the same time... Something either looked too glamorous and pointed, or completely natural? I wanted a nose tip like Karina's, but it was hard to find... *I also got a lot of help here, and I searched through apps like [Brand A] and [Brand B], looking hard at where was famous and at the review photos, and three places caught my eye, so I booked consultations and waited. Even though it was not peak season, there were still quite a few hospitals being mentioned, so it took more than 2 weeks just to get through all the consultations... Then at the place whose review photos were most my style, I got a quote for silicone + autologous costal cartilage + alar reduction + nasolabial angle correction, but apparently I would have had to wait about a month to get a surgery schedule. I was wondering whether I happened to go when they were busy, or whether it was just that long even in the off-season...;; So I debated a lot between waiting and getting it as soon as possible before summer at the clinic that I liked second-best, but since it was still rhinoplasty, I felt I should not rush. I waited a little over 3 weeks and got it, and today I came in as soon as the splint was removed to check the line and write this lol *The swelling at the tip has not gone down yet, so it is still hard to decide whether the tip is round or pointed, but the bridge has lost some swelling, and I am gradually getting excited because the thickness of the bridge feels different from before... I was also very worried about the scar from alar reduction and the shape of my nostrils, but the scar is still under care and the nostril shape came out well without asymmetry. I have a question here: how do you manage the scar on the columella or the scar from alar reduction...? I have been putting on antibiotic ointment, but I am wondering if I should start switching to a pigmentation cream soon *In the end, rather than procedures with poor longevity, it is better to get surgery for the nose. I wasted money and time doing filler and then dissolving it... What a pain... Even after putting filler in and dissolving it, it does not become completely clean like before, and that is annoying, right? I had already had it dissolved before, but the hospital said there was still some left when I had surgery, so they dissolved it again with hyaluronidase...
