It hurt... but compared with other hospitals, it hurt less. I think I could choose one of two types. I have a fleshy bulbous nose type, and I got pretty good results, so I was happy. Still, it seems to return to the original state fairly quickly. Especially, I could feel that the flesh on both sides of the nostrils had decreased, which I liked. I had it done at this hospital two or three times, and I got it from the male doctor; he was kind. He also placed it very meticulously in many areas! If the duration were longer and the effect a little stronger, I would have gotten it often, but now it is one of the treatments I no longer get.
