Nose Surgery Reviews

Finally succeeded with facial harmony (third nose revision review)

This is my review of my third nose revision surgery (so by now, this was my fourth nose surgery).

I had my first revision and second revision, but I never wrote a review for either of them. I ended up writing this one because I was so satisfied with my third surgery lol

I had the surgery with Director Kim Beom-jun at Another.

Even though I had gone through surgery several times, there were still issues that had not been resolved. Honestly, they might seem minor to other people, but there was still a slight bulbous-tip feeling and the hump line had not been completely refined...

If it had been my natural nose, I probably would have just accepted it and lived with it, but because it was still unresolved even after several surgeries, I felt really frustrated.

So I looked into revision clinics a lot and also went to consultations at several well-known hospitals.

But the consultation at Another felt different.

It was not about making it flashy at all costs, and it was not about making it natural at all costs either. It strongly felt like they cared about balance and harmony that fit my face.

During the consultation, I understood why people use the expression "pentagon nose." It felt like they were looking at the overall proportions and harmony instead of emphasizing only one part.

That matched the slim-nose feel I had in mind too? A refined tip, that kind of vibe.

I did not want a nose that was only flashy, and I also did not want a nose that was only natural. I wanted a harmonious nose that suited my face best.

But honestly, even I had not clearly defined what shape would be the most harmonious.

Director Kim Beom-jun really nailed that part.

Even during the consultation, he did not overpush or talk about an overly aggressive design, and he suggested a direction that matched my face.

In the end, it turned out natural but not lacking, and the overall impression feels much more balanced.

I think the harmonious nose I wanted came out exactly as I hoped, so that is what I am most satisfied with.

The crooked nose was also fully corrected, and I am very happy with the alar base reduction I got too.

Once the columella was moved forward and the nose line became prettier, my face became so much more harmonious.

Among people considering revision surgery, I think many are not worried because of a big issue like contracture or sagging, but because of reasons like mine: "Something just does not fit?" or "Why am I never satisfied?"

I was one of those cases too.

If you value not flashy at all costs but a natural harmony that fits your face, along with overall balance, I really hope you get a consultation with Director Kim Beom-jun.

I just want to say that there are cases like mine where the problem was solved after several surgeries. :)
