I had a consultation with the surgeon here, and it was rare that they even took photos and looked at my eyes on a screen. To be honest, they weren’t especially friendly during the consultation, but they answered every question and explained why the surgery had to be done that way. Rather than asking what I wanted, the feeling was more like, "this is how it needs to be done." Still, the professionalism seemed decent compared with other hospitals. The manager was also kind, and I felt I could trust them. But if you ask whether this is a hospital I feel enough trust in to actually go ahead with surgery, I’m not sure. It’s also true that they asked me to do a lot more things than other hospitals. I think it wouldn’t hurt to go for a consultation.
