They explained that my side profile bridge was already relatively high by Asian standards, so if an implant were added to the bridge it could become unnatural like an "Avatar nose." For that reason, they strongly advised against using an implant and suggested doing only tip surgery.
They also said that if only the tip is done, there would be almost no change from the front. Since the hump was not shaved down enough, it would be hard to create a glamorous line even with osteotomy.
Overall, I got the impression that this was a very safety-first hospital, and that they explain responsibility for any outcome falling short of expectations in a fairly conservative way. The consultation was honest, but the direction felt too cautious overall, so I passed.
