Before<Before surgery / day of surgery (12/17)>Before<Before surgery><Day of surgery>After<One week later, after splint removal (12/24)><12/28, day 11 after surgery (basic camera video capture)><Before-and-after side profile photos><Makeup + retouching app>I wanted to write a review after more of the swelling went down, but because I’m way too impatient, I wanted to post it quickly, so here is my rhinoplasty review! First of all, my nasal tip was very wide and my skin was very thick, so even the director said during surgery that my nose was difficult to shape at the tipㅠㅠ
Because the surgery was done under non-sedation anesthesia, I was able to say what nose shape I wanted from time to time, and it was kind of like having a conversation? Since we adjusted opinions while doing the surgery, even if the surgery had gone wrong, I felt that both the director and I had done our best, so I already felt very comfortable mentally!
I intentionally brought all the before-and-after photos taken with the iPhone basic camera! After surgery, there is still swelling at the nasal tip, so I wondered if it looked a little blunt? But once I put on makeup, it was definitely really different from before! But maybe because it has not even been 2 weeks yet, when I put on makeup, my nose feels slightly irritated, so I plan not to wear makeup for the time being!
Since there was really almost no swelling after surgery from the start, there were no restrictions on daily life, there was no splint, only taping, and no cotton was placed inside my nose! Maybe because the incision was very small, there was almost no bleeding, and suture removal was also very small and finished quickly!
The rhinoplasty I had was: 3.5 mm nasal silicone / ear cartilage used for the nasal tip / closed surgery / non-sedation anesthesia, with local anesthesia only on the nose!
That’s what I had done! Because my nose before was really not great, I like my nose so much now, and they said it will become a little slimmer going forward, so these days I feel relieved and the world feels happy!
*Non-sedation anesthesia review: Since it was non-sedation anesthesia, I was conscious from start to finish, and they first gave an anesthetic injection behind the right ear cartilage, and I’m not exaggerating at all, it didn’t hurt so much that I didn’t even know they had done it! After that, they divided the nasal bridge into three parts: beginning, middle, and end, and injected it. Up to the middle, there was just a cracking sound and almost no pain, but maybe because the nasal tip is flesh, it made me tear upㅠㅠ But it was something I only had to endure for 5 seconds in both nostrils, so once I got through it, after that I received the surgery with no problem at all! *
