They said they would remove one layer of ear cartilage from the nasal tip where the cartilage was showing and cover it with dermis. But a week later, after the swelling went down, it still looked pointy and so high... As soon as the tape on the tip came off, the surgeon said they had only removed one layer of ear cartilage. The surgeon clearly said that if the nasal tip became rounder, I still wouldn't be satisfied with that, and that since everyone's standard of beauty is different anyway, they had just made the best shape possible..? I'm scared that the cartilage will show again like this. I already had surgery to remove silicone, and while filling the step at the tip with ear cartilage, the tip became pointy because of cartilage visibility, so I ended up having a third surgery (removing one layer and covering with dermis). But if it's this pointy again, won't it show again...? T_T This is already my third time at one hospital, and I'm really frustrated. I would be fine if the tip came down a bit and became rounder, but it's still so pointy T_T The side profile looks way too artificial... I wonder if it will become more natural once the tip drops a bit later, or whether the cartilage will just show again like this and I'll end up having to remove all the ear cartilage that was used to fill the step... Ah, I really don't have the courage for a fourth surgery. I've had anesthesia too many times, so I'm scared to death... and taking seven antibiotics three times a day every day is getting old and makes me feel like vomiting.
