Because the L-shaped silicone made my nose slowly collapse over 10 years, I ended up having revision surgery three times. In the end I learned that unless I lowered the nostrils, it would not go down, and after the surgery my nostrils are symmetrical and the nose has come down. People say nose surgery cannot be fixed in one try, but the nose really seems like something you have to approach very carefully. I had nostril lowering with autologous costal cartilage and ear cartilage, and the scar from the autologous costal cartilage is already fading a lot now at 5 months. I hope contracture and inflammation never happen again!!
