I had nose surgery 10 years ago, and it seemed like my nose was getting shorter and shorter, so I went in for a consultation worried that it might be contracture. First of all, it was not the contracture I was worried about, and the CT scan showed no abnormality. The director was kind, and they said the septal cartilage had already been used, so it could not be reused and it would have to be done with autologous costal cartilage. I had never thought about autologous costal cartilage, so I am still a bit torn, but since the septal cartilage has already been used, there may be no other way.. The clinic’s reviews are good and the director also seems to prioritize safety, which I liked. It does not seem like a place that does overly flashy work, so once I sort things out, I plan to go back for another consultation.
