I’m bringing a 2-month post-removal update. This will probably be my last post here, and I think I’ll graduate from this community now. I had my nose surgery 3 years ago and then had it removed. It wasn’t because of inflammation, but because it felt like a foreign body and was too high, so aesthetically I didn’t like it. I guess you could say it didn’t suit my image. The surgery used only donor rib cartilage and 5 mm silicone, and the silicone was inserted very long, so the area between my eyebrows was said to have been moving, according to the doctor. Conclusion: I’m still not in the shrinking phase, and my nose feels soft. It seems like my nose has become something between a post-surgery nose and my original nose. The nasal tip shape is different from my original nose, and it still feels a bit pinched, but it actually doesn’t look like a bulbous nose, so it’s fine. The swelling is all gone. I don’t have any tingling symptoms either. The inside stitches fell out on their own around the 1-month mark, so I didn’t go in to have them removed separately. My forehead area feels very empty though lol But I have absolutely no regrets. It feels so comfortable and light, and the fact that I do not have to think about my nose in daily life makes me happy..🥲 I had the surgery at a place that checks with ultrasound. Please refer to my previous posts.
