Nose Re-Surgery

Thinking of changing removal hospital...

You can tell from my posts, but I had been looking for a hospital for removal and decided on [Clinic A]. I went today for a second consultation to book the surgery date, but honestly... it was so different from the first consultation that I think I need to look for another hospital again~ At that first visit, I felt they were positive about removal, but during today’s consultation they kept saying revision surgery comes first no matter what, that removal is for people who cannot tolerate anything hard, and they spoke so negatively that it really broke me down... I mean, I went there today to make a booking... Excuse me, doctor, there is a consultation record right there. I clearly said that I was not even considering revision surgery and that removal was my only option, so why the sudden change today... I was told to wait, and while I was waiting the manager came out and asked, “No more questions, right?” I said, “Ah, yes,” paid, and left. Is this how consultations are supposed to be, different between the first and second visit?? Is the second candidate, [Clinic B], my best option?? In the meantime, I also went to a local clinic recommended by my mom’s friend. They said my surgery is an easy one. They said it would be done in 30 minutes, that they would remove the implant and reposition the nasal tip cartilage, then secure it with dissolvable stitches. The price is unbelievably nice~~ Should I do it at one of the so-called top three removal places, or should I do it at a neighborhood clinic.. I am torn. For reference, the neighborhood clinic my mom’s friend recommended has been operating in that same spot for over 20 years. How would everyone choose??
