Both the director and the consultant were kind during the consultation, and at the time I went there already thinking that I should do it. They also said I could get the deposit refunded even if I canceled the surgery, so I put down a deposit of either 200,000 or 300,000 won.
The consultant said a blood test had to be done once before surgery, and since I was already there for the consultation, it would be good to do it in advance, so I even did the blood test. But after a week of thinking and worrying over and over, I decided to cancel the surgery.
I called to get the deposit refunded, but they said that because I had already done the blood test, the deposit could not be refunded. I was dumbfounded because I had never been told that doing the blood test would make the deposit non-refundable, but they said they would give me two Botox sessions.
It was my first time experiencing this kind of situation, and I didn’t know how to respond, so it just ended like that. Is this right..
