I had already had a buried suture procedure, and there were a few people around me who had it done here and it turned out so well, so I went. People around me who had it done here had no visible signs of double eyelid surgery at all, and it really felt like they naturally developed double eyelids, which was amazing.
If you do as the doctor says and keep it from being excessive, I think it can be done so naturally that no one would notice even if you said nothing. I asked them to make the line as high as possible, but it still did not look awkward and seemed like a line that suited my eyes.
Also, it has been over 5 years and it has not loosened. I think the doctor is someone who performs surgery in a very natural and non-excessive way.
I was scared of local anesthesia, but they said they only use local anesthesia because they shape the line while directly watching the eye open. Hearing that actually made me more confident that doing it with local anesthesia rather than being put to sleep was better.
In fact, during the surgery I kept opening and closing my eyes as they operated. I think that is why the result came out even better.
I only had buried sutures, so I am thinking about going back later for revision surgery with eye correction and epicanthoplasty or something similar.
