I had a consultation about lowering the alar rim. One side only would be 200, both sides would be 250. They seemed to speak pretty frankly rather than predicting an extremely dramatic result. They said one side would definitely be effective, but the other side is so curled in and the skin is so thin that the effect would not come out very clearly. They could not guarantee exactly how much improvement there would be, and said they would have to see how much it lifts over time. If I want to go more decisively, they said I should consider reopening it and doing revision surgery from scratch.
