Nose Re-Surgery

Could this be an infection? Please help T_T

I had surgery in May 2023 using silicone for the nasal bridge and septal cartilage for the tip, and while looking through photos from 2024, I found cartilage showing through on the right side of my nasal tip. I was pregnant, so I waited, and in June 2025 I had a simple(?) surgery at the same hospital where I had my first surgery, where they said they would just shave down the tip (at that time the doctor in charge said it seemed fine and said I probably didn’t need to do it, but even to my own eyes and to people around me, it was obvious enough that they noticed without me saying anything). Even one month after the tip-only surgery, the tip stayed red, and the hospital said that if there was no pain, this was okay, that it was because my skin was thin, and that I should observe it for a year. But now it’s almost been a year, and from some point on the redness did not improve and stayed the same, so I went back to the hospital where I had the first surgery a while ago, and they said it wasn’t an infection and that it would be better to just leave it alone and live with it. I’m so stressed, but I’m scared to reopen it, so I came home for now. The problem is that a few days ago, around the area of the redness at the tip, skin that is whiter and puffier than the original skin has started to rise up. The first hospital always says it’s okay, so I’m posting here for now... Has anyone had a case like this? I really hope it’s not an infection.. T_T My child is still young, and since I live in the provinces, it’s hard to go to a big hospital.. I don’t have the time or energy for revision surgery either.. I really feel like I’m going crazy every day..
