Nose Surgery Reviews

One month review of nostril reduction + tip cartilage suturing at Rise Plastic Surgery

# Hospital information Apgujeong Station, Rise Plastic Surgery, Director Im Jeong-taek I underwent nostril reduction + tip cartilage suturing surgery. # First impression of the hospital and visit experience When I first walked into the hospital, the very first thing I felt was that it was truly clean and comfortable. The interior felt sophisticated and well organized, so just visiting already made me trust the place. The staff were also kind in guiding me, and I remember feeling much more relaxed. # Review of the consultation with the doctor During the consultation, the doctor carefully analyzed the condition of my nose. To be honest, I was scared because I thought cosmetic surgery meant you absolutely had to put in an implant like silicone. But they understood exactly what I wanted and did not force silicone insertion at all. To improve the issues with my nose, namely the wide nostrils and the spread-out cartilage, they recommended only the exact procedures needed, 'tip cartilage suturing' and 'nostril reduction', which made me feel certain that this was a place I could trust. # Concerns before surgery (thick and drooping nose) Before surgery, my nostrils were wide, so my nose looked broad overall, and because the cartilage was spread out, the tip looked blunt and drooped downward, which was a big complex for me. My face felt somewhat dull overall, so every time I looked in the mirror, it was always something I noticed. # Recovery process and treatment after surgery Surprisingly, there was almost no swelling on the first day after surgery, which amazed me. As time passed, yellow bruising and swelling gradually appeared, but there was almost no pain, so daily life was possible right away. What I was most satisfied with during treatment was the aftercare. I was very worried that stitch removal would hurt, but they removed them so carefully that it did not hurt at all, which was such a relief. After removing the stitches, I even received swelling laser treatment as a service, and I was touched because it felt like they really cared for me until the very end. It seems clearly thanks to the laser that the swelling went down much faster after that. # Current condition and satisfaction Now, one month later, most of the major swelling has gone down, and there is no pain at all even when I touch my nose! Seeing the blunt tip and drooping line that used to bother me become neat, sharp, and slim makes me want to look in the mirror. People around me have also been praising how much more refined my impression looks. # What I am looking forward to The doctor said that over the next 6 months to 1 year, the residual swelling will go down even more and the nose line will settle into something even prettier and more natural, so I am really looking forward to that. I am so glad I did it at Rise Plastic Surgery, because I got the exact line I wanted without the scary implant❤️
