Nose Surgery Reviews

3 months after donated rib nose surgery + eye correction + back-and-bottom canthoplasty, with a keloid-prone constitution

It has already been 3 months since I had nose surgery, incisional eye correction, and back-and-bottom canthoplasty with Dr. Kim Jae-yun at [Clinic A]. For the nose, I had surgery using donated rib cartilage. Before surgery, my biggest concerns were pain and scars. In particular, because I am prone to keloids, I worried a lot about severe scarring, and I also wondered whether recovery would be harder because I was having functional nose surgery at the same time. In the early period after surgery, the inside of my nose throbbed, so I worried about inflammation or scarring, but as time passed it gradually improved, and now there is almost no scar left. More than anything, taking photos has become really fun. My face looks clearer than before, so I end up taking a lot more selfies, and my makeup time has been reduced. Also, thanks to the functional nose surgery, breathing has become much easier. At the one-month mark, there was swelling and an awkward feeling, but the pain had eased a lot. From the two-month mark, as the swelling went down, everything became more natural, and people around me started saying that my overall vibe looked better. Around the three-month mark, the inside of my nose throbbed for a short time for about 2 to 3 days, so I visited the hospital because I was worried it might be inflammation, but fortunately it was nothing serious. The hospital is somewhat far from my home, so just in case I asked for medication as well, and they prescribed it kindly, which reassured me. I have seen people around me ignore a little pain after cosmetic surgery, only for inflammation to get severe and even lead to revision surgery, so I recommend going to the hospital right away if you feel even slightly off. The throbbing has now disappeared, and I am generally satisfied! People around me have also reacted quite differently. Before all the swelling had gone down, they would only ask which area I had the surgery in, but now many people ask one by one about which hospital I used, and even detailed information like consultations and aftercare. I also hear a lot of compliments that my nose line and overall vibe look much more natural and pretty than before. Since I only paid for the event price listed in the app, it was easy to tell others the price information too. I am really very satisfied. Before surgery, I worried and hesitated for several years, but now I am satisfied to the point that I wonder why I hesitated for so long. My double eyelid line from a past surgery had been gradually loosening and started to look uneven, so I was considering revision surgery. In particular, in the past, because my eyes looked sleepy, people sometimes misunderstood me on first impression, but now I hear often that my eyes look clearer and my impression has become brighter. Having eye correction together with back-and-bottom canthoplasty makes my eyes look even more open. Thanks to that, I feel much more confident when meeting people.
